DESCRIPTION:The 12th Annual Amanda Hichkad CCA Celebration Walk\, which raises funds for Cancer LifeNet\, takes place Saturday\, May 10\, at 8 a.m. at The John Carroll School\, 703 East Churchville Road in Bel Air. The Presenting Sponsor is Klein's ShopRite of Maryland.   \n\n \n\nOrganized by the UM Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation and Chesapeake Cancer Alliance\, the walk is held to honor\, celebrate and remember those who have received a cancer diagnosis. This year's goal is to raise $125\,000 to support Cancer LifeNet at the Kaufman Cancer Center at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. \n\n \n\nCancer LifeNet is a free-of-charge\, supportive care program offered to all residents of Harford and Cecil counties\, regardless of where they receive their cancer treatment. Cancer LifeNet is funded fully through philanthropy and is designed to help patients and their loved ones find the resources needed to balance work\, family and cancer treatment. \n\n \n\nCommunity members are invited to be part of the walk as a team captain\, sponsor\, participant and/or donor.
