DESCRIPTION:Harford County Public Library Foundation hosts the 2nd Annual Taste of Harford: Back for Seconds\, a buy-local culinary event that celebrates the rich flavors\, talents and community spirit of Harford County. The event takes place May 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Vignon Manor Farm\, 425 Darlington Road in Havre de Grace.\n\n \n\nTaste of Harford showcases more than 40 local food and drink partners\, including restaurants\, farmers\, breweries and wineries. Each will provide guests with a "taste" of a specialty item\, and all participants are encouraged to incorporate locally sourced ingredients in their recipes. \n\n \n\nGuests at Taste of Harford will be invited to cast votes for their favorite local food and beverages in the "Best Bite of Harford County" competition categories: seafood\, meat\, vegetarian\, dessert and beverage.\n\n\n\nTaste of Harford will also feature a farmer's market\, artisans\, author visits (including Chef John Shields from Gertrude's Chesapeake Kitchen)\, a silent auction\, entertainment and more. In addition\, guests will have the opportunity to vote for one of three ice cream flavors made by Broom's Bloom to honor the upcoming 80th anniversary of Harford County Public Library.\n\n \n\nFor the most current listing of participants\, visit HCPLmd.org/toh.\n\n    \n\nTickets to Taste of Harford are $45 per person and are available by visiting HCPLmd.org/toh.
