DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Maryland's deep and rich history of cooperation with Estonia\, the Liriodendron Foundation is proud to present "Relationships" - the first ever international art exhibit to be held at the historic Liriodendron mansion. The exhibit features paintings\, drawings\, sculpture\, and textiles from artists in Bel Air's sister city\, Narva\, Estonia\, along with a photo exhibit and silent film depicting life in Estonia in the early 1900s. A special opening of the exhibit will be held on Sunday\, September 16 from 11 am to 4 pm. A program\, featuring honored guests and including refreshments\, will begin at 11:30 am. Events highlighting Estonian history and culture\, and Maryland's unique relationship with the country\, will occur in September and October. Offerings will include film screenings\, a lecture\, and music and dance performances. The exhibit will be on view on Wednesdays from 1 to 7 pm and Sundays from 1 to 4 pm.
