SUMMARY:IICRC Certification: Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
DESCRIPTION:The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) certification covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management\, property restoration\, IEQ investigations\, or other related professions. Emphasis is placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Upon completion\, a student will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants. (Prerequisite WRT). Destry opened TEC Pro in 2001 to provide Training\, Education\, and Consulting. Prior to becoming an instructor he worked hands-on beginning in the industry as a technician. He continues to work in the field as a consultant. With this experience along with a background in construction he provides training that is consistent with the best practices in mold remediation.
