The 9th Annual Amanda Hichkad CCA Celebration Walk, which raises funds for Cancer LifeNet, takes place Saturday, May 14, at 8 a.m. at The John Carroll School, 703 East Churchville Road in Bel Air. The Presenting Sponsor is Klein's ShopRite of Maryland.  
 
This year's goal is to cross the $1 million milestone since the walk’s inception in 2014. To accomplish this goal, community members are invited to be part of the walk as a team captain, sponsor, participant and/or donor. To sign up and learn more, visit uchfoundation.org. Cancer LifeNet at the Kaufman Cancer Center at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center is a free-of-charge, supportive care program offered to all residents of Harford and Cecil counties, regardless of where they receive their cancer treatment. Cancer LifeNet is funded fully through philanthropy and is designed to help patients and their loved ones find the resources needed to balance work, family and cancer treatment.
