Habitat
for Humanity Susquehanna’s Repair Program helps low income homeowners to
live independently and to keep them safe in their homes. Homeowners are
qualified through a home visit and must also meet certain financial
eligibility requirements. In the last year alone, Habitat made 50
repairs with low income homeowners.
Critical Repairs
Focus
on alleviating health and safety issues. Repairs may include floors,
walls, roofs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, accessible ramps and other
accessibility modifications.
Designed
to improve energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and comfort. Repairs
include windows, doors, caulking, insulation, and minor HVAC systems.
Focuses on exterior improvements which may include painting, minor siding/roofing, trim, landscaping and cleanup.
