Dr. John Aucott, an international authority in the management of tick borne disease, will discuss the latest information on preventing and managing Lyme and other tick-borne illness in Maryland. The risk of Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases will be discussed. Ways to prevent tick bites will be highlighted as well as how to enjoy the out-of-doors safely. Dr. Aucott is the Chair of the US Department of Health and Human Services Tick-Borne Diseases Working Group and a professor at Johns Hopkins University.
