Description
Visit the galleries at the Liriodendron Mansion* between May 9 and June 23 to see the works of Elizabeth Burin, Joan-Elisabeth Reid, and Annabelle Thurlow.
The fifty luminous watercolors in this exhibition transport the viewer from the detailed beauty in the fields and gardens of Maryland to abandoned places in the Southwest… and further still to the wilds of Namibia, Africa.
Each of the three artists express light and color through their keen observations and skilled compositions.
The exhibit will be on view each Wednesday from 1 to 6 pm, and on Sundays May 9 and June 13 from 11 am to 3 pm.
Social distancing protocols will be observed – masks are required.
*Please note that, due to the historic nature of our venue, there is limited access to the 2nd floor gallery space.
