We'll kick off the event with our presentation, "How to Prepare for Selling Your Business." Even if you’re not contemplating a sale in the immediate future, it's helpful to understand the business and legal considerations in advance. We'll explain the steps you need to take before putting your business on the market and what to expect during the acquisition process. We’ll discuss:

• Setting goals
• Conducting and managing due diligence
• Choosing the right advisors
• Obtaining a meaningful business valuation
• Making sure your house is in order (contract and intellectual property considerations)
• Using and understanding non-disclosure agreements and letters of intent

Afterward, we'll enjoy some golfing fun at Topgolf's high-tech, climate-controlled hitting bays.
