Harford County Public Library welcomes Mark Dawidziak, author of “A Mystery of Mysteries: The Death and Life of Edgar Allan Poe,” to a “Meet the Author” event during Mysteries and Macabre Month on October 17 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Abingdon Library, 2510 Tollgate Road in Abingdon. Published by St. Martin’s Press in February 2023, Dawidziak’s new biography of Edgar Allan Poe examines the author’s life through the prism of his mysterious death and its many possible causes.
