Description
Visit with Rosa Parks - The Mother of the Freedom Movement - at the historic Liriodendron Mansion, and learn how her quiet determination sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott and inspired generations to continue the fight for civil rights.
On Tuesday, April 5 at 6:30 pm, Janice Curtis Greene - award-winning Author, Master Storyteller, and American Griot - will bring Rosa Parks to life with her enthralling reenactment of the African American icon.

This special presentation is part of Dr. Kelly's Liriodendron: Life, Legacy & Community - a year-long series of programs, supported by The Dresher Foundation, which explores the interests and influences of Dr. Howard Atwood Kelly - world-renowned surgeon, naturalist, philanthropist, and author, and one of the founders of Johns Hopkins Medical School and Hospital.
