The Harford County Public Library is excited to present the Side Hustle Workshop.  This free workshop is designed for individuals interested in learning more about gig work, freelance opportunities and flexible ways to earn supplemental income.  The program will include presentations from professionals discussing the legal, tax, and insurance considerations of 1099 work, along with a panel discussion featuring experienced gig workers who will share practical insight into the realities, benefits, and challenges of the gig economy.

Getting started with gig work
Income expectations and expenses
Safety and customer service tips
Time management and work-life balance
Tools and strategies for success
