Description
Howard Atwood Kelly, a renowned doctor and one of the founders of Johns Hopkins Medical College, is well known for his accomplishments in the field of gynecology. His dedication to his religion and the Temperance Movement has also been fairly well documented. What many people do not know is that Dr. Kelly, like his sister Dora Kelly Lewis, was also a dedicated suffragist. Join Dr. Amy Rosenkrans on Wednesday, April 10 at the historic Liriodendron at 5:30 pm to hear about the suffrage work of the Kelly siblings.
Seating is limited. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at https://bit.ly/KellySuffrage
Visitors will be able to view our Votes for Women exhibit before and after the talk. Additional information about the exhibit may be found here: https://bit.ly/LirioGallery
