Administrative Assistant

Real Life Prosthetics is searching for Administrative/Funding support in our Abingdon, Maryland location. We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, can multi-task, and who will treat our patients with dignity and compassion. Someone who will provide the best level of customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources is a must!
This position includes (but not limited to):
- Answering calls/questions in a professional manner
- Scheduling
- Verifying insurance coverage, checking benefits
- Greeting patients and visitors
- Obtaining required physician documentation when needed
- Accurately quoting to patients
- Learning different insurance company policies and procedures
- Helping with other various front office, administrative, funding department tasks
Serious candidates who are looking for a LONG-TERM career, and are RELIABLE and DEPENDABLE, must have a high school diploma or GED, office administrative experience (preferably in the Healthcare field), and a valid driver's license. You must be teachable, willing to learn with a positive attitude, have exceptional work ethics while taking initiative to help where needed, and work well with others.
Gaining knowledge about Prosthetics and Orthotics is rewarding in itself! This desk position is an important piece that ultimately helps our patients thrive!
