Administrative / Funding Support

Real Life Prosthetics is searching for Administrative / Funding support in our
ABINGDON, MARYLAND location. We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, can multi-task, and who will treat our patients with dignity and compassion. Someone who will provide the best level of customer service to patients, fellow employees and referral sources is a must!
The following ways administrative support may contribute to our team include,
(but are not limited to):
 

  • Learning different insurance Policies / Procedures
  • Verifying insurance coverage, checking benefits
  • Obtain authorizations from insurance companies when required.
  • Accurately quoting to patients
  • Obtaining required physician documentation
  • Following up on claims / Appeals
  • Answering calls/questions in a professional manner
  • Scheduling
  • Greeting patients and visitors as needed
  • Help with other various front office, administrative, funding dept tasks.
 
Serious candidates who are looking for a LONG-TERM career, and are RELIABLE and DEPENDABLE, must have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of office administrative experience (preferably in the HEALTHCARE field), and a valid driver's license. You must be teachable, willing to learn with a positive attitude, have exceptional work ethics while taking initiative to help where needed, and work well with others.   
 
Gaining knowledge about Prosthetics and Orthotics is rewarding in itself!
This desk position is an important piece that ultimately helps our patients thrive!
 
Job hours are Monday thru Friday,
8:00 am until 4:00 pm
