About Us

Iron Rose Fencing is a historical fencing club teaching swordplay through the ages! We offer beginner and intermediate classes to students of all ages, plus gear is provided!

Honor, humility, grace, and a good sense of humor, are all qualities we try to impart to our students. We encourage an atmosphere where people are encouraged to foster new friendships and make connections, while learning the theory, tactics, and techniques to make them true practitioners of western swordplay.

We open our doors to all, as we believe that the more techniques a student of the blade is exposed to, the better overall fencer they become. Every relationship and crossing of a pair of blades is an opportunity to learn and to grow as a person and a fencer. We strive to study these weapons and techniques as a martial art, and seek to uncover all that we can in our studies.
