About Us

The Harford Center is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization in Harford County, MD. We provide day habilitation and employment services to adults with developmental disabilities. We serve people of all abilities, from those who function independently to those who require medical care and assistance with all Activities of Daily Living. Programming is individualized; the people we support takes an active role in setting their own goals and choosing their own activities. We support people to live the lives they choose. We also advocate for acceptance and accessibility in the community. It is our goal that every person we serve will be fully integrated into the community through work, volunteerism, and recreational activities.
