Passing a test. Walking into a classroom after years away from one. Starting over financially. Going back to work. Rebuilding a dream that once felt too far away. Getting another opportunity after disappointment. Taking one more step when quitting would have been easier.
Those are the moments that change a life.
Today, I am celebrating another milestone reached.
I passed my CDL permit, completed my classroom training,
The moment someone finally saw the dream behind the manuscript.
There are moments in an author's life that cannot be measured by sales.
They cannot be measured by rankings, reviews, contracts, social-media numbers, or the number of people who have purchased a book.
Some moments are much quieter than that.
They arrive in an email.
On a page.
In a few carefully chosen words.
And somehow, those words reach deeper than anything else.
For me, that moment came in the form of a letter.
