Palumbo Insurance Associates Names Edmund Palumbo Partner and Vice President
Bel Air, Maryland — Palumbo Insurance Associates is pleased to announce that Edmund Thomas Palumbo has been named Partner and Vice President, reflecting his long-standing contributions to the firm, leadership within the organization, and commitment to client service.
Edmund joined Palumbo Insurance Associates in 2011 as an Account Executive and has steadily advanced while playing an integral role in the firm’s growth. A licensed insurance producer since 2007, he brings nearly two decades of experience spanning commercial insurance, specialty markets, and client advocacy.
Edmund holds an Associate’s Degree from Harford Community College and has built a diverse professional background that includes domestic and international insurance experience. Early in his career, he interned at Lloyd’s of London with Miller Insurance Services, one of the world’s largest independent brokerage firms, followed by work with Nationwide Insurance in the United States. His broad experience gives him a deep understanding of complex risk and market placement strategies.
In addition to his insurance career, Edmund brings a unique leadership perspective shaped by service and discipline. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 2008 through 2015 and previously worked in the construction industry and as an Ocean Rescue Beach Supervisor, where he supervised public safety operations and emergency response. He is a graduate of the Monmouth County, New Jersey Surf Life Guard Training Academy.
Edmund is deeply committed to community involvement and professional development. He is a founding officer of the Society of Italian American Businessmen and actively volunteers with local ministries including Mt. Zion’s Beyond Capernaum and Celebrate Recovery. He is also an avid triathlete, competing in races across the country.
In his expanded role as Partner and Vice President, Edmund will continue to focus on serving the firm’s core markets, including government contractors, healthcare professionals, and construction trades, while helping guide strategic growth and mentor the next generation of insurance professionals at Palumbo Insurance Associates.
