The Kelly Group offering course at Harford Community College: College Planning: Saving and Early Planning for Higher Education - Wednesday, October 2

The Kelly Group is excited to announce that Chad Arrington,CFP® and Tom Cusick CFP® will be teaching new courses on college planning this fall. The two sessions will be offered at Harford Community College. These sessions address the most challenging issues parents face in saving, planning, and paying for their children's college education.

This course provides ideas on how to save for college when your children are still young. Topics discussed include types of investment vehicles (e.g., 529 plans, UTMAs, Coverdell IRAs), costs of college, and types of schools (trade school vs. traditional college vs. combination 2-year community college and 2 year bachelors). We will also address the time value of money and the effect of inflation on higher education costs. This course is designed for expecting parents and parents with young children.
