Description

As part of Summer Reading 2025, Harford County Public Library hosts Wildlife Adventures: Colors of the Wild on August 6 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Jarrettsville Library, 3722 Norrisville Road, and from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Whiteford Library, 2407 Whiteford Road. Colors of the Wild is a vibrant exploration of how animals use color to survive, communicate and create. Through gentle live animal encounters, kids will discover nature’s artistry while learning how they can help wildlife. Young artists are invited to bring their own wildlife art to share to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. The event is supported by the Jarrettsville and North Harford Friends of HCPL. Advanced registration (opens July 23) is required at www.HCPLonline.org.
