      1. FLSA: Full-Time, Regular Salary, Non-Exempt
      2. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 0900hrs – 1700hrs
      3. Location: Onsite, Aberdeen, MD 21001
      4. Supervisory: No
    2. Key Roles:
      1. Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and production line layouts utilizing LEAN manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and productivity
      2. Create and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes, equipment operations, and quality standards
      3. Analyze and optimize factory process flow to improve throughput, reduce bottlenecks, and eliminate waste
      4. Identify and implement automation solutions to enhance process efficiency and reduce manual tasks
      5. Maintain and oversee manufacturing equipment, machinery, and tools, ensuring they meet required quality and safety standards
      6. Develop and implement production plans that meet customer demand while minimizing downtime
      7. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure products consistently meet defined standards
      8. Investigate and address defects or deviations in manufacturing processes, implementing effective corrective actions
      9. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations through risk assessments and the implementation of robust safety protocols
      10. Provide training and guidance to production staff regarding safe manufacturing practices and effective operation of manufacturing equipment
      11. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), Operations, Supply Chain, and suppliers to ensure seamless translation of product designs into practical, manufacturable solutions
      12. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Quality Assurance (QA) and cross-functional teams
      13. Lead technical support and troubleshooting assistance to manufacturing and production line personnel
      14. Support cost reduction initiatives through process improvements and waste elimination
    3. Basic Qualifications:
      1. Associate’s degree in Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
      2. +3 years of demonstrated experience in an equivalent or similar role in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management
      3. Demonstrated experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
      4. Demonstrated experience with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 or other industry-specify quality systems
      5. Demonstrated experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
      6. Maintain highly organized and detailed records
      7. Ability to operate material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
      8. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
    4. Preferred Qualifications
      1. Certification such as: Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) or Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
      2. Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
      3. +6 years of demonstrated experience in an equivalent or similar role
      4. Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certifications
      5. Experience with industrial automation, robotics, or PLC programming
      6. Hands-on experience with production line support and troubleshooting
      7. Experience with ERP system, Deltek, simulation/modeling tools, and data analysis tools
